Publish History Overview

The Publish History page in VpAdmin provides a comprehensive view of all your website publication history. This page allows you to track when your websites were published, the status of each publication, and any associated error messages, ensuring transparency and helping you diagnose and resolve any publication issues.

The Publish History page allows you to:

• Track Publication History: View a chronological list of all website publications.
• Filter Publications: Filter publications based on project name, publication description, publication status, and start time.
• View Publication Details: If the publication failed, you can view the failure logs by clicking the "View Details" button.
• Access Live Sites: If publication is successful, a link is available to access the live site.

Publication History List

The main table displays a list of all publication attempts, with the following columns:

• Site Name: The name of the site being published.
• Publish Description: The description entered during the publish process.
• Publish Status: The status of the publication (e.g., success, failed)
• Start Time: The date and time when the publication started.
• Publish Duration: The total time taken to publish the site.
• Operations: Provides an option to view details of the publication or access to the live site depending on the publication status.

Available Operations

• Access Live Site: If the publication is successful, the "Operations" column will display a "Link" button, which allows you to open the live website in a new tab.
• View Details: If the publication is failed, the "Operations" column will display a "View Details" button.

  • Clicking this button opens a dialog box showing detailed publication information, including the site name, publish description, start time, and a detailed error log.

  • The error log will highlight lines in red that contain critical error information, which are crucial for debugging.
